Vita-Weat
Vita-Weat was originally made by a company called Peak Freans. Arnott’s bought the Australian operations of Peak Freans in 1976 and threw its weight behind making this popular and nutritious biscuit bigger and better than ever.
Today, more than 9.2 million packs of Vita-Weat are sold each year. And Vita-Weat is synonymous with vitality. Here’s why:
- They are made with 100% wholegrain wheat, which contains all the important nutrients from the whole grain, including providing a source of fibre. The health benefits of wholegrains have been studied extensively and are recommended for maintaining health and vitality.
- Vita-Weat are 100% natural. They are made with an oil rich in monounsaturates and don't contain any additives. The latest addition to our Vita Weat family is Vita-Weat Soy & Linseed, which provides a natural source of Omega-3. Many people don't get enough of this essential nutrient in their diet.
- The superior quality of Vita-Weat was recently recognised by the nutrition experts at CSIRO and incorporated into their Total Wellbeing Diet.
- Vita-Weat are cholesterol free, because they are made using sunflower oil, which is high in monounsaturated fats.
- Vita-Weat are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, and are high in complex carbohydrates and low in sugar.
- There are five varieties of Vita-Weat, two of which come in Original and Sandwich size
