Quick & Easy Croque Monsieur

8 Arnott’s Sao biscuits
4 thin slices ham
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 ½ cups (130g) grated gruyere or swiss cheese
8 tsp softened cream cheese
2 tsp finely grated parmesan



  • Pre-heat oven to 180°C
  • Spread four of the Sao biscuits with ¼ teaspoon Dijon mustard then place onto a tray lined with non-stick baking paper or aluminium foil. Top each Sao biscuit with a slice of ham and 1 tablespoon grated gruyere cheese.
  • Spread 2 teaspoons of cream cheese on top of remaining Sao biscuits then place on top of one of the ham topped Sao biscuits, cream cheese side up. Sprinkle over remaining grated gruyere cheese and then top with finely grated parmesan cheese.Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until cheese has melted. Serve immediately with a fresh green salad.
